What will I be learning in Art and Design Today (02/12/2010)

Today I will...

• Continue to develop my subject knowledge and vocabulary by participating in the Bingo activity at the start of the lesson.

• Continue to build on my knowledge of the processes and skills used to create a Collagraph printing plate by completing my plate today including coating the whole plate in glue to seal the textures down and make the plate ready to receive ink for printing.

• Develop my knowledge of art, craft and design techniques by learning the skills and processes used when creating a collagraph print.

•  Continue to develop my skills using tone by using the graduated shading technique on the line drawing of my Collagraph plate design.

• Continue to build on my knowledge of collage techniques by continuing with my mixed-media art work inspired by my printing plate design. 

•  Develop my self assessment and evaluation skills by participating in the Plenary Talk activity at the end of the lesson.
