Susan Edwards

Susan Edwards was born in Wales she is a painter and print maker.

Her work is inspired by her enjoyment and observations of the natural forms that she sees in her local surroundings.

She is particularly interested in the shapes and colours that come from the continuous cycle of life such as the growing and decaying processes of plants as well as the shapes formed by the elements through the erosion of rocks.
Drawing is an important part of Susan Edwards’ development of ideas.
She mainly works in mixed media, often combining the processes of print making techniques, such as collagraphs, with painting and drawing.
