Georgia O’Keeffe
Georgia Totto O'Keeffe was born in 1887 and began taking art lessons in high school.
The dessert landscape of New Mexico was the inspiration for most of her work, which is in the abstract form.
Georgia O'Keeffe sold her first Giant Flower painting in 1928, when she was 41 years old.
Georgia O'Keeffe was married to a world famous photographer, Alfred Stieglitz. Over their entire time together, he took over 300 photographic portraits of her.
In 1985, President Reagan presented Georgia O'Keeffe with the National Medal of Arts.
Georgia O'Keeffe died on March 6, 1986, aged 98 and had her ashes scattered into the wind over the New Mexico desert.

Georgia O'Keeffe shades her work really good and in my opinion I think she takes time and care into her work , altho O'Keeffe can draw flowers she can draw shells just as good the detail in her work is amazing as I enjoy looking at her work .
Georgia O'Keeffe is my favourite artist out of all the artist we have looked at so far. I like her work because it's very unique. My favourite painting by Georgia O'Keeffe is The Red Poppy painting.
